Just days after Hippie Sabotage's attack on security at What The Festival went viral, a petition began asking all future music festivals and shows to blacklist the duo. The petition states “by blacklisting these awful excuses for artists, we can do the world a favor and make sure that no one, employer or fan, will be subjected to their scummy behavior again.”
This past weekend, Hippie Sabotage performed at the annual Electric Forest music festival and many dance music fans thought all hope was lost. That was until Low End Theory posted an update to their Twitter late Thursday evening. Low End Theory tweeted “Hippie Sabotage is unable to perform at Low End Theory Festival 2016. Stay tuned for further announcements regarding the final line-up.

For the past couple of years, Low End Theory has created pristine lineups including artists such as Flying Lotus, Bleep Bloop and Gaslamp Killer. With what seemed like a solidified lineup for the 2016 year featuring artists such as Ghostface & Raekwon, Daedelus, Invisibl Skratch Piklz and Hippie Sabotage, it seems that the hippies have actually sabotaged their own careers.
Hippie Sabotage has yet to make a follow-up public statement regarding the events at What The Festival.
