A DJ from New York is claiming that Walgreens sold him defective earplugs and the results were tragic.
Joseph Alpern has filed a lawsuit against Walgreens for a minimum of $640,000 after experiencing “an immediate sharp pain, accompanied by a ringing sound” after one of his sets. The DJ claims he used the earplugs during a gig in 2013. Following his DJ set, Alpern went to a specialist who told him he has permanent nerve damage. The specialist said that the Earplugs were sealed too tightly and damaged his eardrums as soon as he pulled them out.
After the experience, Alpern says he is suffering chronic headaches and fatigue.
