According to a recent article by Thump, Holy Ship! representatives have allegedly infiltrated secret Facebook groups to spy on shippers.
Last Friday afternoon, the online #SHIPFAM community was in an uproar after news of suspicious messages surfaced. The messages were sent out to several shippers who had been posting drug-related comments on social media. The messages were not only to show dissaproval of such conduct in the #SHIPFAM community, but to inform them that they are blacklisted from Future HARD events and all existing reservations will be cancelled and refunded,
‘This will serve as a wake up call to you and others who think this type of behavior is acceptable. Perhaps this has prevented something with harsher penalties from happening. The fact that you were not caught or arrested for your actions will hopefully soften the let-down [sic] of not being allowed to ship with us in 2016.'
The messages are rumored to have been sent by HARD's cruise ship partner in Holy Ship!, Cloud 9 Adventures, and signed by Beats at Sea. At this point, no officially comments have been made and Gary Richards, HARD's CEO and Destructo himself, has yet acknowledge the situation.
