In the 1980s, there was hardly a rave scene, but there was The Warehouse. Last week, house music legend Frankie Knuckles was honored at the Grammy Award ceremonies. Frankie was Chicago's, America's, and the World's founding father of electronic music, and The Warehouse was his playground. Now, both Frankie and Robert Williams (club owner) will be further immortalized in Hollywood:

“Growing up in Chicago, I always knew about The Warehouse and its ties to house/dance music… What amazes me is what started as a fad in a small Chicago club in the late seventies has evolved into the biggest genre of music in the world.” – press release issued on the impending production.

A project launch party will be held on March 31st; the 1 year anniversary of Frankie Knuckles' passing away.
