If you haven't yet heard this story, you probably live under a rock because it has been trending everywhere. Today the world learned that Krewella's Kris Trindl, also known as Rain Man, is suing Jahan and Yasmine for kicking him out of Krewella (Full Article). Essentially, Kris is suing Jahan and Yasmine for his portion of the group's profits. Jahan and Yasmine recently responded via their facebook page:
This response is very interesting. Not just for what it says (that they are disputing that they asked Rain Man to leave, that there is ‘some other truth'), but for what it doesn't say, which would be:
We would never deprive our team member of his fair share of the profits of songs that he co-produced, wrote for, or performed.
Which is what this lawsuit is actually about. So far the conversation has been about why he left and if he was asked to leave or not… Who knows. In the end it's about money, and in this matter – if Rain Man wrote, produced, performed jointly any of those tracks he's entitled to revenues from them. The fact he felt he had to file a lawsuit to get his share is sad. Like, he felt as if he was getting screwed over by them and talking it out wasn't working. These three people who used to be friends and partners.

It's unclear who will win the legal fight, #TeamKris or #TeamYousaf, but what is clear is that most fans have been reacting very negatively to the News.
