EDMsauce will be listing the Top 10 songs for the entire Electronic Dance Music genre periodically.
Make Sure You Stay Tuned!
Typically I’m focused on a top ten but I realized this month that just having ten is really limiting. Awesome artists and tracks were getting dropped off that really deserved to be there. And 10 is kind of an arbitrary number anyway. So from now on, we’ll just be having a artist submissions playlist. The great tracks will make it on there, the good tracks might make it on there, and the crappy tracks definitely will not be. Let us know if you like this new format better than the top ten! This week’s playlist has an eclectic...read more
Slow yet mesmerizing, heavy yet tranquil this remix of “Flickers” is proof for the creative talent that is Zeds Dead. This duo is back with a track so powerful it’s almost unnatural. The basslines are intoxicating; they do not take away from the melody but add the dash of energy the song commands. The chilling vocals have an aura of suspense, and no matter how many times you play this song, it is never enough. This is the type of song that can quiet any venue; play this song in public and people will stop talking and listen....read more
Confession: When I’m building these playlists, I usually do *try* to make the tracks go together, or at least progress nicely. This week I had a rough time with this because the tracks submitted were really all over the map. Seems to be a lot of harder stuff, though, so this playlist has less of a mix than normal. So, this playlist starts out fairly chill but quickly moves to festival worthy electro and then finishes with heavier tracks. Super hard fans might want to skip right to the end, as the Bro Safari & Valentino Khan track...read more

Confession: I’ve been slacking. When our inbox hit 700 unread emails I knew it was time to DO SOMETHING so here we are with the top ten artist submissions. I had to cull through quite a few, nahmean? Anyway, a huge number of original productions that were very well done, as you can tell from the selections below. General trend – less trap tracks and more Melbourne Bounce. Still seeing increases in heavy electro with strong bass/dubstep influences, even a bit of quick paced German techno influence. Additionally, got some absolute...read more
