EDMsauce will be listing the Top 10 songs for the entire Electronic Dance Music genre periodically.
Make Sure You Stay Tuned!
Welp, it’s November, so I guess winter is officially ‘here’ and the outside festivals are at an end. This means you can look forward to a few months of sweat fueled dance floors and industrial bass reverb. Setting us up for that is our weekly Top 10 Artist Submissions. As always, I try to pick out a balanced blend of genres and talent. Some of these guys aren’t yet doing 25,000 person shows every weekend, but definitely deserve recognition. So without further ado… 1) Everest- This is Arcasia 2) Sick Individuals...read more
I must admit, after I heard Paris Hilton’s latest track I almost turned my back on the music industry and shut down our email accounts. It’s all doomed, man! But nothing perks me up like some hardcore electro, so I went back to ye old inbox and starting sifting through the madness. This weeks’ playlist is a chaotic soundtrack. Expect to twerk while enjoying old school Snoop Dogg and Ying Yang Twins. 1) Aaron Wayne – I Hate Music (IDestiny Remix) 2) Sean&Bobo – Cheers (Original Mix) 3) Ying Yang Twins Feat....read more
This weeks’ top ten list is a doozy, with a wide range of genres and talent. I tried to mix it up a bit and have including some complextro/funk which I think (hopefully) will push your buttons and boundaries a little. Warming us up at the number one spot is a remix of Paul Oakenfold by Karboncopy, then a slew of up and coming artists. Press play, people! 1) Top of the World – Paul Oakenfold (Karboncopy Remix) I absolutely love this upbeat progressive house remix, and it’s my number one pick this week. 2) 3LAU, Paris &...read more
Apparently all of the DJs have had some downtime to work on new tracks, because when I opened the email today to make this week’s post there were almost 700 unread messages. I’m still working my way through it, obvi, so some of the recent tracks are going to get pushed to next week. 1) Medicine Time -Kasum Mashup (Imagine Dragons vs Daughter vs The Chainsmokers) I redid the entire lineup based on this song. It is impeccably done. The different melodies and messages of these three very different songs blend so seamlessly I was...read more
It’s been said that I give preference to chillstep and progressive house tracks, and although I’d love to deny that… I won’t. I will, however, take a break from swaying romantically and rage (just a little). My tour through our submissions this week yielded some interesting electro tracks – almost all with some body grating bass and fall off your chair peaks and booms. Hopefully you’ll find a new favorite in the artists listed below. Most are available for free download. 1) Felix House & Max Kartel-...read more
With summer in full swing, most of our artists are busy doing shows on back to back weekends and the rest of you are busy going nuts at said shows. Our inbox has been a little quiet as a result, but nevertheless I had a full 252 songs to listen to. Todays playlist is a mixed bag of joyful electro house, trap and dubstep, festival anthems, and a dash of trance for good measure. Keep the party going, kids. 1) Danny Chen Feat. Alana Aldea – Through My Eyes I love this progressive house track from Danny Chen. The lyrics are sweet and...read more
After a long hiatus due to graduating and moving, I am diving back into the craycray madness of our submissions inbox and finding the newest, hottest, best tracks for you guys. This is our chance to highlight up and coming artists alongside big names, and I love finding talent in odd places. Today I’m bringing you high energy electro house upfront, transitioning into some trap and dubstep, then bringing it back to festival anthems. 1) The Boomzers – Neva Stop With a lot of boom and even more drop, the Boomzers are bringing it. No...read more
Hello mai friends, it’s that time again. I’ve been mad busy trying to graduate (last week of class yesssssssssssss!!!!), so this week I might have been unfairly biased toward songs that were full of bounce and the joy of a prison escape. As usual I was not disappointed with this week’s findings, and included below are tracks ranging from dubstep to progressive to Jamaican electro-pop. #FuckYeaSummer Thanks again to all the hardworking artists who submitted their work for us to critique! 1) Armin van Buuren Feat. Trevor...read more
On Saturday April 13th, Boombox Festival, presented by AOE, kicked off spring festival season in Pennsylvania with their one day multi-stage production on Tussey Mountain outside State College. While the weather may have still been a bit chilly, the electrifying acts, stunning visuals, and pristine scenery kept people moving and the crowd full of heat. Upon arrival at the ski lodge area turned festival grounds, the stark contrast of majestic natural mountainscapes and industrialized sets, blaring man-made electronica, turned your senses on...read more
This week we had fewer submissions than normal, so it was easier to go through the entire roster but then there seemed to be higher quality so it was hard to narrow it down to ten selections. There was definitely a misanthrope / rage theme going, although I’m not sure if that’s because I watched “Alien” while sifting through tracks or it’s an artist trend. We close out the top ten with a gorgeous mashup of Deadmau5 and Mimi Page, Thanks again to all the hardworking artists who submitted their work for us to...read more
