Being a writer here for edmsauce has given me some amazing opportunities. It is always really cool to sit down and chat one on one with a huge international star, and find out that he’s just a real human being like everyone else. Over time, you notice trends and oddities – many of them hate, or are legitimately afraid of, flying. Which sucks, if you’re on a plane almost every week. Whenever I’m on a plane, I spend almost all of the ride clinging to my armrest, sort of like a kitten who is about to be put into a...read more
There is one thing that cannot be denied when listening to Stereotronique & Northend’s new track Rhusma and that is lots of heavy, thumping bass hits pulsating through the speakers. The track has a very nice balance between the softer periods when it sounds like the song is over and the subtle return of the bass line. Rhusma provides many different synths near the middle and it almost makes it seem like it isn’t the same song. At a lengthy six minutes, Rhusma packs the power to go all night and you will not be disappointed! Buy...read more
Yesterday, the Las Vegas based DJ and music producer, REVOLVR, dropped a house-inspired remix of Florence & the Machine’s hit Spectrum (Say My Name). As if the original didn’t want to make you dance around and sing at the top of your lungs enough, REVOLVR takes it to the next level. With his addition of jumpy beats and catchy drops, this remix will get your heart bumping and your brain wishing it was Friday....read more

Lately, Deadmau5 has been dropping teasers here and there of his latest works in the studio and today we got another look into a new track. Posted to his Soundcloud, Deadmau5 released a 2 minute and 15 second preview of the single “Monophobia.” The dark and sultry bass-hitting beat sounds like the mouse is experimenting with some original sounds that we haven’t heard from him in awhile. Definitely excited for the real thing. Check it out below. ...read more

Being his first original track in months, Ecto Cooler strikes back onto the scene yet again with another one of his tempting electro house tunes. Usually I’m a big critic when it comes to judging these type of tracks but to be honest, this one really stood out to me. Something about the combination of the melody paired with the sound design just made a divine sensation in your ears. I strongly recommend taking a listen to the track and purchasing it off of Beatport. Watch out for these Dirty Ducks as they can only be destined for...read more
I have heard various remixes of ‘Uncover’ since its release in January, I think that Richello’s version is the best that I have heard and thus felt it worthy of a post on the Sauce. The combined ages of the talent heard on this track is only 32 years. Richello is a 17 year old Norwegian producer and remixer and the vocals heard here are that of Swedish singer Zara Larsson who will be 16 later this year. If this remix is any indication to the young talent that is out there today, look out as we are in for a great ride. Like to...read more
