Hansel Thorn’s new single “Requiem” delivers the perfect blend of orchestral melody and rhythmic drum ‘n’ bass. Hansel Thorn is a “…19 year old music producer who makes music for young adult dolphins because its the most important stage of a dolphins life and they need bass”. This song definitely strikes the right tune if you’re looking for dolphin moshpits and dolphin parkour. You can follow him on soundcloud and...read more
Sometimes when it’s cold outside, it means even cooler tracks, which is exactly how I imagine Electus, outta Norway, came up with this DnB track, Tangled. The fast paced melody of the track is nicely alternated with the relatively soft lilting sound bits that seem almost ethereal. The track seems also to be over much sooner than it should be, which is a signpost for a good song in general, I have found. While apparently being Electus’s first attempt at some Drum N Bass, I have seen far worse efforts and look forward with to...read more
Though Mike Diasio is best known for being Gigantor of the well-renowned DnB group Evol Intent, as well as being the proprietor that keeps Evol Intent going today (with Bro Safari busy making trap and Treasure Fingers busy making disco house), Diasio also goes by the stage name Computer Club, which is the pseudonym he uses to produce music outside of drum ‘n bass. However, with this brand new remix of Crosses’ “The Epilogue” he did with fellow producer Dan Sena, Diasio shows off his DnB chops as he and Sena give the...read more

One thing comes to mind when I think of MitiS, melody. Years of classical piano training has made Joe Torre aka MitiS one of my all time favorite electronic music producers. I had the pleasure of seeing MitiS in the basement of Webster Hall in NYC, and it still ranks as one of the best shows I have ever seen. My personal preference in music bounces between dubstep and drum and bass, and MitiS composes both as beautifully as anyone I have ever heard. The Latest MitiS EP Touch, relased on his own label BORN Records, is a prime example of...read more
Following his AMAZING EDM Sauce Exclusive Mix, no single is truly safe once it gets in the hands of the man known as Proper Villains and Rex Riot’s single ‘Birds & Bees’ is no different. Taking the original, which features the beautiful vocals of Misun, ‘Birds & Bees’ is transformed into a future bass anthem that contains both drum & bass as well as trap elements. And like the musical Robin Hood he is, Proper Villains is giving this one away for free! Listen to it below and get your copy today! Free...read more
Among up and coming artists this summer, it’s hard to find someone having a bigger impact on their genre’s fan base than Virtual Riot. The German student has a sound that is drawing comparisons to Skrillex and Knife Party. In the past week, he released this killer free download that is another example of his prowess of uptempo dubstep, glitch, and drum and bass. He’s well on his way to 50,000 Soundcloud followers now and his Youtube channel is ever-popular with mind-blowing tutorials where he makes incredible melodies...read more
To say Ultra or EDC festivals are fun is an understatement; likewise to say this remix of “No Twerk” hits hard is also an understatement. This remix is plain dirty; right off the bat this track attempts to knock you off your feet, and if you’re not prepared, it will succeed. Banging drums, bass that never backs off, and aggressive lyrics make this song simply insane. Your heart will race while listening to this track, but do not take my word for it: check it out for yourself and let us know what you...read more
Hailing from England, Subvibe has released their newest EP titled “Resurgence“, which definitely makes sense after releasing their first EP over a year ago. Coming straight from the EP, the title track Resurgence is absolutely everything what a hard dnb track is needing. With beautiful percussion, endearing synths, and profound bass, the entire song is definitely one not to be missed. If you are looking for some new and original Drum and Bass/Glitch Hop music, go check out Subvibe’s Resurgence EP which is available now on...read more
The Prototypes are a UK drum and bass duo comprised of Chris Garvey and Nick White. With their return to Viper Recordings, The Prototypes are set to release a new LP called City of Gold. After hearing two singles released by Garvey and White, Lights and one of the best dnb songs I have ever heard Pale Blue Dot, saying the City of Gold LP is highly anticipated would be an understatement. The piano melodies in Don’t Let Me Go alone is enough to make anyone love this track. The Prototypes rythmic drums provide the well polished drive...read more
