Sounding pretty fantastic over on Ultra Music right now is the debut single release from musician and producer BGRZ. He has taken the 1994 tune “Agolo” from Angelique Kidjo and brought it up to date with a zesty 2017 twist.
Alongside a gorgeous official video, this edit is smooth and technically strong from start to finish, incorporating just enough of the original's charms to make it authentic. BGRZ has added darting synths and African-inspired percussion to those powerful vocal hooks, and it all works incredibly well.
