Just out on drum & bass platform SUNANDBASS Recordings is the new EP from UK based producer FD. Well established in both his production and DJ career, FD has put together a debut offering for the label, titled “Serious.”
A varied and technically fantastic set of three tracks, FD's fluid style is evident from start to finish, and he uses influences from different styles to great results. Up first is the title track, which first appeared on Lenzman's Dope Tape mix, and this is a stunning listen. The man of mystery Calibre drops a suitably sublime remix of the golden “Ambra” next, before FD closes the EP with the snappier “The Edges,” which rounds of proceedings nicely.
