I could go on for days as I always do about the English trio that at this point, all of our readers must know I fan girl over with every piece of news or every new track released by them. However, while I see them as the three trance gods sent down from heaven above to save our society and bring us all together in peace and harmony, most of you know them as Above & Beyond. While I know some of you feel the way I do about the boys from the UK, many when first getting into their sounds find it hard to see all the sides of the group which I have grown to know and love so well. One side of A&B that rarely is seen in the public eye, is their extremely intense non-vocal side which is usually premiered in tracks released as singles on their label Anjunabeats. Tracks such as “Hello”, “Walter White', and “Mariana Trench” are all examples of this particular style of the trio's sound.
Luckily for Anjuna-fans, it seems that the boys have yet again blessed us with one of these extremely intense uplifting tracks. The new track entitled “1001” is an absolute monster filled with the powers of love, intensity, and possibly even heartbreak mixed into it's veins. Regardless of the emotion it makes you feel, the one thing this track does not lack in is power. With a driving bassline and an incredible melodic breakdown the track builds into itself and overlaps into it's own drop with a true sense of authority. Talk about a track that really gets the blood pumping! We haven't been able to stop listening to the piece since it was released three days ago.
