Champagne Drip Takes Zeds Dead and Diplo’s “Blame” To The Future

First of all, I must say that Champagne Drip is a damn sexy name. Since 2014, EDM veteran Sam Pool, formerly SPL, has been delivering quality music under this alias, and his sound lives up to his newest alter-ego. His most recent EP, “Of Course I Still Love You” out on Saturate Records, is a delicious blend of future as well as drum and bass. The EP is topped with a wash of glossy arpeggios and a deep analog bass that gives me chills every time.

Fresh off the electronic press is his flip of Zeds Dead and Diplo's “Blame” ft. Elliphant. He does a gorgeous Job of elevating Elliphant's vocal melodies and heightening the emotional drama of the track as a whole, while keeping the original spirit of the nighttime anthem with heavy, grimy drops. Take a listen below, and see how many listens it takes before you already know the chorus.
