This year there was a fair amount of genre-bending, EDM crossover music that has been produced. EDM has crossed into country music,classical and now Taylor Swift. Recently, Nick Kroll and Reese Witherspoon recorded an EDM cover of “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift from her recent album 1989. The song was created for the new film “Sing” coming to theaters soon. In addition to “Shake it Off” there are several other covers that are featured in the movie.
Viewers will also hear a latin cover of Daft Punk‘s “Around the World” by Senor Coconut and His Orchestra. However, this track was originally released in 2008.
