So many songs. So many more remixes. The most popular songs this year have seen lots of different remixes (i.e. The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” and “Runaway” by Galantis), some better than others. Another popular song (that we’re still into) is Flume’s “Never Be Like You.”
RL Grime took it upon himself to layer in “Never Be Like You” into his popular track, “Aurora” at Blueprint 19 in Canada earlier this month. Thanks to a fan’s video that was posted on YouTube, we got to experience the harmonious marriage of these two tracks. Rightfully so, he asked for “all of [the crowd’s] energy right now” and then a heavy handed beat dropped and the crowd, indeed, went wild.
