The 2017 Nominees for induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame are out. Making the 2017 ballot-Depeche Mode, Chic and Kraftwerk. Electronic music may finally make a breakthrough in Cleveland.
To be considered for a nomination an artist must have released a first record 25 years ago. Additionally out of the 20 nominees, only five hopefuls get inducted. Then come December, the inductees will be announced with a ceremony to follow in April of 2017.
