Tycho has unexpectedly released his new album on Ghostly International called Epoch. The album was released today on SoundCloud, but will be released in a physical version in January of 2017.
Scott Hansen originally started the solo project but has transformed Tycho into a four-piece band. “I've never been fond of handing in an album then waiting four months for it to be released,” says Hansen. “I wanted to be more connected to the people consuming the music. There is a kind of visceral fulfillment you get from sharing something that you've just created with other people. That's a very satisfying feeling as an artist.”
