Tapping into their instrumental side on, “Island Hopping,” STARFARI takes us on an epic chase through the night sky. The song is a great example of how to diverse the duo really are, the mesh of ambient synths, bongos and violins creates a jam that gears you up for the rest of the EP. Featuring the powerful vocals of Andrés Owens, STARFARI riffs between crushing bass synths and guitar solos on “Clear the Clouds.” Followed up by a seductive vocal on, “Get Lost,” the duo confirms that they can bend into a pop sound as well. Closing their EP on the same foot they started on, “Affinity,” truly summarizes their tale amongst the stars. |
