Porter Robinson Plays DDR To His New Song ‘Shelter’

If you're a big fan of Porter Robinson, you probably know how he got into Electronic Dance Music. If you don't know his history though, Porter Robinson discovered his love for dance music while playing the video game Dance Dance Revolution or DDR for short.

At the age of 12 years old, Porter's brother brought home DDR for Playstation 2 and the rest has been history.

Through his continued love for the video game, Porter Robinson has discovered the free and rhythm game for Windows, Mac and Linux called StepMania.

During Porter Robinson's Facebook live stream, the DJ/producer played his new track with Madeon directly on the StepMania screen. Watch as “Shelter” is played over and over in the video below:
