Today I’m stoked to say that I have the honor to be the first to deliver some down-right dirty new dubstep to all of your ears. It’s been a while since I’ve found track’s that make my face melt so hard with each listen, but Tal Wallace, AKA Ultra Foxx, has the well-trained talent to do so. In exploring careers from mastering music to writing dance tunes for TV, Wallace has been around the block in the music scene. So now he’s ready to showcase some of his seasoned skills to the world with the rebirth of his old project, Ultra Foxx.
His latest self-titled EP, is a genius work of glitch-hop and dubstep, combing elements from classical/orchestral to jazz throughout. The dude leads listeners in with the slow-building “Rebirth,” a track that creates a mountain of momentum for the epic tunes ahead. We’re then led into “New Galaxy” in which we get our first taste of Ultra Foxx’s deft dubstep stylings. The tune’s a heavy banger that’s had me bouncing around my room ever since I got my ears on it. Things heat up with “Thunderbolt” as the tempo heightens, and the hype stays high through the final tune “Total Breakdown.” The breaks on that last track are enough to make your grandma mosh; And I’m not kidding.
Wallace promises to have much more in store for the project. He plans create a story through music and videos surrounding his character, Ultra Foxx, who travels the galaxy as an intergalactic bounty hunter on missions. If that doesn’t sound sic I don’t know what does. All in all I’m stoked to see what comes next from this guy, but for now I’m sure this EP can keep us all satisfied. Bump it here!
