With her Terminal EP out on the tasteful Eton Messy Records just last year (Blonde, Eli & Fur, The Golden Boy), this Croydon girl has received lingering praise on everyone’s lips.
Today Kayper shares a new remix of the legendary Janet Jackson‘s “Alright”. Infused with classic R&B, disco and house rhythms, Kayper creates a texturally rich dynamic, turning out a melodic and sophisticated style only a well seasoned producer can accomplish. In celebration of Janet Jackson's 50th Birthday, Kayper took to theBBC 1xtra and BBC Radio 1 decks this past weekend to salute her with an epic mix.
Kayper remarks, I like doing these remixes, because its just about me making what I want to make and having fun with it. Anyone who follows me knows its no secret that I'm a massive Janet fan, I have been since I was a child. “Alright” was one of my favorite songs. I wanted to make a version that I could play in my live sets but without it being too different from the original. So this is like my updated flip of a Janet classic.
