According to a news article by Digital Music News, it has been reported that SoundCloud is preparing to implement new restrictions on uploaded DJ mixes.
The nature of the limitations are unclear at this point, but Digital Music News reports that uncleared DJ mixes will not be allowed to be uploaded to SoundCloud.
A representative from SoundCloud has denied the claims stating that “the story has no truth to it. At SoundCloud, we’re on a mission to create a place where all creativity can live. SoundCloud’s creator community, including DJs, is incredibly important to us.
