Having recently brought us his debut EP “In Control”, Yvng Jalapeño is setting himself up for a great year in 2016, if his quality of production on the release is anything to go by. We grabbed this exciting talent to find out his musical guilty pleasures.
1) Bob Marley – “Redemption Song” (Acoustic Version)
You can never go wrong with a bit of Bob Marley. Could listen to this song on repeat daily!
2) Kanye West – “Flashing Lights” ft. Dwele
This just reminds me of playing GTA. When you're cruising around trying not to break the rules, then this jam comes on… Instant 5 stars.
3) Tame Impala – “Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind?”
Although their latest album “Currents” is filled with hits, this song by Tame Impala will always be my number 1.
4) Lorde and Son Lux – “Easy” (Switch Screens)
I always seem to throw this one on when I’m having trouble working on some of my own projects. The beat is inspiring – although it's nothing like my own stuff.
5) M83 – “Midnight City”
This would easily make the top 10 of my all-time tunes. When music is able to change your current mood, that's when you know you have made something special. Instant happiness.
