Many people in the dance music community enjoy throwing around David Guetta's name as a joke to make fun of newbs in the scene, but you can't deny his worldwide popularity. Even at major events where the truest of dance fans should be the majority of attendees, Guetta still manages to pack a full stage and put on a truly professional performance.
To no ones surprise, the tech company Dubset has confirmed that David Guetta is the most sampled DJ in the world. The company used software to search for the total number of songs where artists samples were used. The company ranked the top 25 most sampled artists, with Guetta topping off the list for at #1. Calvin Harris is next on the list following Guetta by only 4% on the frequency index.
For most sampled tracks, Calvin Harris tops the list at #1 with ‘Outside'. Alesso comes in at #4 with ‘Heroes' and Guetta at #9 for ‘Dangerous'. Check out the full list below to see where your other favorite artists stand.
