Dillon Francis Drops Brand New A-List Moombahton EP

It’s already been ten months since Dillon Francis released the popular album “Money Sucks, Friends Rule” – a mainstream explosion of hits and unique collaborations. Now it’s time for his first major offering of 2015: “This Mixtape is Fire,” featuring plenty of exciting new collaborative efforts that each have a careful, yet delicious slice of Dillon’s touch.

Dillon Francis has been building up the hype on his new moombahton EP titled ‘This Mixtape Is Fire‘ for the past few months now. Whether Dillon Francis has been busy creating memes, funny videos or just straight up debauchery, Dillon Francis has been getting ready for this release for some time now.

One thing you may notice about Dillon's new EP is the incredible list of collaborators involved. Diving into some new and old influences, Dillon recruited some massive talents for this EP. There’s a beautiful track here with tropical house standout Kygo featuring a nice vocal from James Hersey. Adding some hip, progressive bounce and bass, this track really defines Dillon’s “GENRE EVERYTHING” approach at the moment. Then, of course, he follows a recent progression back into moombahton by teaming up with Bro Safari for “Pull It” and Skrillex for “Burn Up the Dance.” All the while, his mega-collab here called “What’s Your Name” with Calvin Harris has the same bouncy, moombah style that we know and love. To finish things off, there’s a vintage-sounding collaboration with Chromeo that bleeds off into the sunset with a sexy guitar riff.
