Last month Diplo ripped into Zedd's album stating that “True Colors is such a pile of sh*t.” Diplo didn't stop there though when he said that Selena Gomez and Zedd's relationship was just a public relations stunt to bring in more sales for the album.
“I just think that he came from such a cool place, and now he’s been pegged as a money-maker for a major label to do EDM,” said Diplo. He then went on to say “they’ve marketed him, even the fake relationship with Selena Gomez, all the things to sell records took away from the music.”
When Selena Gomez was asked by New Zealand radio's The Edge Afternoon she said “First off, It's very interesting that Diplo would think he knew about my personal life, but he doesn't.” She went on to say that “I adore Anton (Zedd)a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice.”
