A city in the desert. A culture of possibility. A network of dreamers and doers. That's how multi-day festival Burning Man describes itself. On the other hand, “The Sound of Music” is one of the most iconic musicals ever. When they collide, something interesting is bound to happen.
YouTuber Dr. Yes put together a video compilation that combines the songs, “My Favorite Things” from the “Sound of Music” with a video recap from Burning Man.
The result is an almost-three minute journey featuring Julie Andrews that takes viewers through the wacky and insane festival (including the giant octopus and the many people enjoying themselves).
The week-long annual event that takes place in the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada gathers people from all walks of life under music and art. Burning Man will take place on August 30 and will last until Sept. 7.
