Very few people ‘own' a genre in the EDM scene, however, Will Sparks (the king of bounce) has done just that, single handily owning the high-energy Melbourne Bounce scene. He tears through yet another barrier after remixing Maroon 5's song, ‘Maps'. The song enters with a light snare and snap percussion line accompanied by ‘Maps' signature guitar riff. This is shorted lived as Sparks production chops Adam Levine's lyrics and immediately gets your head bopping with his coined off-beat bass Synth that perfectly matches the key of Levine's voice. The song morphs into a super high-energy build and explodes into an insanely bouncy drop that includes Spark's ever so familiar melbourne saw synths, super wavy basslines, and perfectly placed percussions. The groovy-ness found within this song far outweighs any element and keeps the listener intact throughout the vocal, sing along breakdowns. Will Sparks continues to dominate bounce with this remix.
