These days wearable technology is the talk of the town. Wearable technology is clothing and/or accessories that incorporate computer and advanced electronic technologies. One of the earliest known wearable devices was the calculator watch that was introduced back in the 1980's. 
Fast forward 30 years and you'll get wearable technology inspired by the electronic music scene. Sync is a product that was inspired by the emergence of visual DJs in EDM. “”Sync visually connects its wearer to background music by featuring a central LED plus sign that pulses with various intensity based on whatever music is playing. It responds to audio through a small, insular patch in the center of the shirt that is flexible. Because the patch is self-sustaining, there’s no wiring running through the garment and the patch can be removed for washing or to transferred to another garment.”
Sync is still just a concept at the moment, but CRATED is looking to put in further research into creating a consumer-ready version in the next six months.
