Deadmau5 Attacks Armin van Buuren’s Radio Show ASOT, Armin Responds

It's been awhile since we've heard Joel ‘Deadmau5' Zimmerman talk trash on other artists. This was the case until last night when Deadmau5 went back to his old ways on Twitter saying that Armin van Buuren's “ASOT is about as much ‘trance’ as Nelson Mandela is indie punk.” Deadmau5 went on to tweet “Anyone else remember ‘trance’?” “I’m thinking like, Union Jack… Art of Trance… Etc. You know, old people music.”

Despite what sounded like Joel just trying to pick, Joel went on to say “Settle down kids, I’m not picking fights. Love what u want. The version of ‘trance’ in my head is more antiquated than adagio for strings k?”

Joel didn't stop there as he tweeted out at classic British trance artist Binary Finary saying that he helped trance die back in the late 1990s.

UPDATE: Armin Van Buuren responds with “why don't you come and play #ASOT700 and show us what “trance” is? Or backing out again?”

UPDATE: Deadmau5 responds with “why don’t you come over and clean my apartment and feed my cats for a week? or you gunna back down again?”
