For the last four days I have had the privilege of listening to PrototypeRaptor‘s EP Elemental. Let me just say I am full on blown away. PrototypeRaptor takes you on an electro funk filled ride.
His first stop is Intro, a bass driven experience with hard claps that sets the tone for the entire ride.
Next up is Sunshower, a track that made me feel like Tony Motana dancing with his future wife Elvira for the first time, due to the old school Miami disco beats.
Third stop on the funk train is Groove Bias, a robot roller skate party that will have your head boppin for days.
Following that track is Rootwork, a bounce filled track that climbs into screaming lead guitar solos that will have your feet stomping involuntarily.
Next is You, a seductive track with vocals by Elizaveta, that lifts you up and drops you into a pool of molten gold.
Vaprus, the following track, is a funkadelic song that sent me strutting down the Soul Train Line.
Synesthete may just be my favorite track of the bunch. It is a high energy, guitar driven track, with synths that bring to mind his classic hit Drive Hard.
The closing track, Horizon, finishes with with thick bass, magnificent piano work, and strumming guitar that fully completes this masterpiece set to release on 7/9/14.
