EDC Chicago Brought in Over 26 Million for Local Economy

Electric Daisy Carnival made it's Chicago debut in May of 2013, and recent studies suggest that it provided a huge boost to the local economy. This figure includes over five million spent on food and beverages, over a million each on accomadation, transportation and retail as well as over 11 million dollars contributed directly by insomniac events to the Chicago economy. Simply put, the gathering of over 65,000 fans in Illinois helped to create jobs and boost the local economy on a great scale.

With EDC Chicago being such a success in 2013, we can surely expect to see it once again next Memorial Day weekend!
