Tonight, at 9pm ET, US users can be the first listeners ever to the new Knife Party Haunted House EP. They'll be playing the full length album, plus other unreleased remixes, in AnonFM – the flagship room of Anonymous. Once in the room, users will be able to actually chat with KP, as well as with other noted artists. Also attending (and talking with fans) will be Tut Tut Child (at 7:30pm ET), Butch Clancy (at 8pm ET). Other artists to be announced.
Knife Party will be making their ‘Haunted House’ EP available to buy on their website with Bitcoins, alongside the traditional digital outlets for music. I gotta love these guys not only for their epic music but also for the size of their cojones. It definitely speaks to their willingness to try new things, appreciation for their fans, and enthusiastic embrace of technology.
