I have absolutely no idea what the vocals are saying, but I love it! Porter’s fourth and final single off Worlds ‘Flicker’ is amazing! (As usual…) And I must apologize for my enthusiasm, but with Worlds coming in less than two weeks, I don’t know if I can control my excitement much longer. Like Porter’s previous singles, ‘Flicker’ is beautiful! Porter’s unique take on electronic music, which is present in ‘Flicker’, is truly brilliant. The Japanese vocal breakdown over the track...read more

MK aka Marc Kinchen is the man of the hottest house summer mixes of the moment. Based in LA but from Detroit originally, he has worked with the biggest stars from Snoop Dogg to Jay Z, Rihanna and Beyonce just to name a few. He was mentored by one of the main pioneers in Detroit techno, DJ Kevin Saunderson. He backed away from the house scene after releasing major hits in the early 90′s to produce tracks with Will Smith and the likes. His Summer 2014 Mix was uploaded in his Soundcloud account and its an hour of groovy house music that I...read more
KRNE recently impressed us with his “Zero Zero One” EP release on Terrorhythm Recordings. But, upon releasing this track, we now realize that “Zero Zero One” was only the beginning. Straying away from the deep but groovy bass heavy tracks that filled his previous EP, KRNE takes a more chilled out glitchy twist appropriately on Tinashe’s sexy tune “2 On”, exemplifying his versatility with music production. The tempo switches up constantly in a clean unobtrusive style. And, KRNE does a really good job of...read more
It’s been a month since hard dance’s most elaborate festival concluded, and Q-dance has released its after-movie. Q-dance has been doing trailers and after-movies for more than 10 years – long before they became a staple for live events — and continues to push production quality in and outside their events. Over the course of a weekend, and among 13 stages, attendees and hard dance DJs came to play, dance, and rave. If you weren’t lucky enough to attend the Dutch festival, then sulk in sympathy while...read more

Most likely our readers have never heard of Keith Urban. He’s a country singer. His songs are the country equivalent of Kenny G – the farthest thing from hardcore you could possibly go. Total estimate of concert goers = 18,000. Not that we’re comparing, but…. EDCLV – 134,000 total (one day). 12 hospitalized. If EDM concerts were as...read more
