The first time I fell in love with electronic music was when I heard a bootleg copy of Gabriel & Dresden‘s Winter Music Conference set from 2005. A decade later, and despite a three-year hiatus between 2008 and 2011, these guys are still killing it. If you’re enjoying the deep house comeback as much as I am, then this full set from Ministry of Sound in London last Friday will be right up your alley. Check out the tracklist and make sure to grab the free download through...read more

Kaaze, the 25 year old producer from Sweden has given away yet another track for free. He has previously given away a remix he did for Tiesto’s “Maximal Crazy” and this time it’s a remix for Tiesto’s “Footprints”. Crazy stuff I know. Kaaze’s tracks always have such high production quality and are the perfect combination between the hard hitting and uplifting sides of progressive house. All of his songs are great, and this one is too. As always, free download on his...read more
Dublin DJ Silinder has released his much sought after deep house bootleg of IDM trio Moderat’s ‘Damage Done’. The track opens with a nearly haunting, looping ominous sound, and, in deep house fashion, takes you through a slow, euphoric, minimal musical composition. Throughout the eight minute duration, the track does eventually the track does build into a considerable climax — a track which should be essential for any deep EDM playlist. The track can be played and downloaded...read more
Tiesto’s put his personal spin on the summer-favorite track “Gold Skies” by Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix, and DVBBS. After showcasing Deorro’s “Yee” in almost every recorded live set for almost a year, this is Tiesto’s first publicized piece of music that would fall under the sub genre bounce. Gold Skies was always a massive vocal track. Tiesto hasn’t changed the tone of the song; he’s only provided a different style of energy. Expect to hear this version of the song indefinitely at...read more

Van’s Warped Tour has become the alternative rock scene’s go-to for summer music. As dance music culture has grown, so has the blending between fan bases. There’s nothing worse than when bloggers post literally a million remixes to the same song. It’s terrible. So, prepare yourself everybody for my second post in a row of a remix for Cazzette’s “Sleepless”. Young Bombs is a duo out of Vancouver and have just released their follow up to their remix of Galantis’ “You”, which was received exceptionally well. They say they wanted “to mash a few genres together including big room/indie/deep house with some tropical textures to capture a happy,...read more

A month ago, Big Chocolate finally came out from his producer hermit hole to release Couples EP, his first new EP since 2013′s Clean. Couples showed Big Chocolate moving away from the heavy and aggressive bass music that most listeners know him from in his earlier works of Hilion and Red Headed Locc, but no matter how genre-ambiguous his new productions may be, they’re still crafted with meticulous talent. On another note, some listeners thought Big Chocolate’s year-long music sabbatical should have yielded more music than...read more
